First time I saw these kids on YouTube, I busted out laughing, funny dudes! They have rose to fame on YouTube, and still are putting out videos. In a room, they manage to entertain more than most TV Shows can. Give these kids a budget and studios and imagine the damage they could make, they would be superstars! They are from the U.K., and are being labeled as the best lip syncing, mimers in the world.

They do a lot of dancing on their knees, and comments on YouTube are that they are good dancers as well as the best lip sync mimers in the world. The kid in the back is a riot, as he shows up with the funniest faces, but to me the front two do the most, funny as hell. They have many videos up on YouTube! Look for the mother or sister to come in by accident and stays there a bit watching!
It reminds me of a show me and my brother and friends used to do at the height of the video camera craze in the late 80s. There was a lot of lip sync and music and comedy.
Haji from Parkez17
These kids are hilarious, and if some producer out there was smart, would grab these three and put them in a movie or TV Show! Imagine The Three Stooges were born today instead of back then, they probably be on YouTube hitting each other in the head with stuff.
These guys make funny faces and dance and listen to great music and have a ball! 12:40 am est
Friday, February 16, 2007 Sabor De Paixao!
Great Brazilian novela Sabor De Paixao! Brazil makes the best novelas the world has ever seen, they are the best! Two good ones in a row, first it was Chocolate Com Pimenta and now Sabor De Paixao. Just finished watching the last episode, it was great yesterday and today! The characters were great and seemed real, and I bought into the whole thing.

The story centered on Diana a charming young lady living with her very moral and loving family. The father dies suddenly and his quest for the lands he owns in Portugal who are in the hands of a ruthless business woman who stole them from him, is passed on to Diana!
Diana meets Alexandro the son of the ruthless woman all before the death of the father in a night out, and they are caught up in a Cinderella romance with the missing shoe and everything. It's not the romance of these two that steal the show, it's Diana's male best friend Jean a wino who's past drove him to despair, his past involving guilt and murder. Jean who much later in the novela meets Clarissa, the story of these two take off, leaving Diana and Alexandro's romance in the dust.
Edson Celurari as Jean
Jean was a rich restaurant owner in France, the Frenchman as he is referred by the people of the Lapa hangout, was at one time a different man. Diana tries to help out her best friend Jean, and finds this out about his past that I mentioned before.
Carolina Farraz as Clarissa!
Out in despair in the streets, drinking as always Clarissa comes into his life as a passer by, who at first thinks he is a beggar, and offers him money. He sees her as an Angel! She returns looking for him, and has this bond and mystery towards Jean. Great scenes when Jean saves the lives of two children trapped in a falling building and becomes a hero, in which Clarissa then realizes something about the mystery.
Jean cleans up his act as you can see after
Clarissa came into his life.
Jean one day returns, and is no longer the city's most famous wino and is cleaned up. As he astounds everyone and the most awesome scene is when he goes to avenge and pay a visit to Nelson the novela's very evil villain who treated him so bad when he was down. Had not seen anything like this since the great novelas O Astro and Pai Heroi! Great storyline and well acted! Awesome!
This was Edson Celurari's best role, he was the star of many novelas that played here, including Explode Coracao, but he was not my favorite character on there! Never really had impressed me until now!
Carolina Farraz as Clarissa
on Sabor De Paixao!
On location of Sabor De Paixao, that is not a regular set, it leads to the outdoors, a real looking place, this novela used a lot of actual places. That is the bar and restaurant Diana's family owns and then she goes into partnership with Jean later on. Using outside and real places, and another one was Lapa locations, and one seemed watching these places and scenery and people, that it was real, and added realism missing from TV today.
Love Brazilian women!
I had seen Carolina in other novelas that ran here in New England. But this role, she won me over, she was excellent and great, is up there with my favorite Brazilian actresses now!
Leticia Spiller as Diana!
The lead actress in this novela, and a great role. Even though Carolina Farraz second lead actress in the novela out shone her, Leticia was incredible in this role. Always like her when she is in a novela.
Liliana Castro as Laiza
She played Diana's sister Laiza! Great new actress and first Brazilian novela for the daughter of a Brazilian diplomat. Liliana lived most of her life overseas in Italy, and Venezuela and Paraguai. She lived most of her childhood in Milão and learned English in school there. Had always visited Brazil almost every year and now has taken Globe Novelas by storm. Beautiful actress, worth watching Sabor De Paixao just for her!
Yeah, Nice!
Guga Coelho as Juca
Juca my favorite male character after Jean. At first it seemed he was going to be the bad guy as he drew a switchblade in the dance club in the first episode. But he turned out to be the heart and the funniest character of Lapa and Sabor De Paixao!
Juca and Laiza, how Laiza wanted him to commit, but Juca just wanted to party and hang out with his people from Lapa! He had the greatest lines and made me laugh every time he was on.
Marcelo Serrado as Nelson
The evil Nelson, who would not let go of Diana when she broke off with him. Rich Man Poor Man's Falconetti, Lapa had Nelson! Best villain since Cezar Reis from Pai Heroi! He just would not stop taunting and causing trouble, that Nelson.
One time had Jean committed to a mental institute on a set up. Made pacts with Alexandro's ruthless mother to destroy Diana and Alexandro's relationship. Hit his own uncle's live in friend in the head with a heavy object knocking out the old poor man, when he heard that his uncle was in his will leaving the estate to the live in friend. Made threats to his uncle, unbelievable stuff, kidnapped Diana one time, set up a worker to take the blame for a theft at his uncle's house. You name it, this guy did it.
At the end he blows up Diana's bar and restaurant and almost kills Alexandro. Instead of taking off, next day he shows up at his now passed away uncle's house, taunting the live in friend, with the cops on the way to get him. Sometimes comical his attitudes, played it well, Nelson will be no doubt one of the top villains of all time!
Liked the music they played for his scenes and when trouble was in the air, it reminded me a little bit of O Astro's trouble and action music. But it reminded me even more of Scotty Baldwin from General Hospital that music they played when he was around.

Marcelo (Nelson) and a co star
from Sabor De Paixao
at some event!
The cinderella bit at the club, it quickly faded
as the novela went on.
Samara Felippo and Fernanda Rodrigues who plays Isadora in Sabor De Paixao are good friends, wish she would hook me up with Samara, yeah, keep dreaming, I wish!
Great novela! Even though the ratings in Brazil weren't stellar numbers and wasn't as successful as some of the novelas I mentioned, it sure was a great one.
Sometimes a great production gets the success it deserves like Pai Heroi and O Astro and Dona Xepa did. And sometimes some crap becomes a huge success and sometimes it is the other way around. Sabor De Paixao was entertaining and a great production!
This novela was wrtten by Ana Maria Moretzsohn and a few co-writers and directed by Denise Saraceni! Will look forward to future work from this writer and writers and director, if it comes around!
Weeknights sure is going to be different, it will be missed. This was a gem, great novela! Most memorable characters Juca and Jean and Clarissa and Laiza and of course Nelson, still laughing, unbelievable the things he did! Great novela! 11:32 pm est

Great video and song from the album OU812! One of the coolest and good vibe feeling video, Van Halen ever made! Sammy with the red suit, that to me symbolizes the summers in the 80s particularly the summer in 88. It takes me back to the long drives in the summer listening to this song and others from Van Halen going to the beaches and other places. Sammy is the man, better than David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar's singing voice fantastic, reaches those notes like nobody can!
I credit Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth for causing all the drama, but I think it's Eddie! Stick to Sammy, those were the best albums ever! Nothing's missing, how do I know when it's love, I can't tell you but it lasts forever, how does it feel when it's love, it's just something you feel together! Great song!
My favorite album cover from Van Halen!
Check out Van Halen - Dreams, Van Halen makes millions so happy all over the world, as you can see in this video of concert goers and outside footage of their concerts. I remember the experience when I went and see them in concert in the mid 90s! Bigger version click here!
Van Halen: Finish What You Started!

Great video and song also off the OU812 album! That unique Hagar and Van Halen sound! Van Halen music is almost country sounding and the drum sound sounds almost flat like any body could be banging a box or some other surface and get the same sound, not your Def Leppard Hysteria electronic-stereo drum sound, but it works for Van Halen, would not want it any other way! On this video listen to the guitar sounds, and you will see what I mean, country sounding, especially this song. Awesome song and video! Come on baby, finish what you started, I'm incomplete, that ain't no way to treat the broken hearted, come on and finish me. I can sing all of the Van Halen songs after all they are engraved in my head from all that listening to them in the late 80s and 90s!
Patriotic Sammy!
Van Halen in 2004!
Van Halen will be inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2007 and recently have announced a tour for this year where David Lee Roth returns as the front man!
Two years ago it was Sammy and now David Lee Roth, what's next Gary Sharone! Maybe Patty Smyth a once serious candidate to front Van Halen when Roth left for the first time, will be next after that.
I wish they would stick to Sammy, he's proven it, time and time again, he's the real Van Halen singer. Van Halen is my third favorite band of all time! 10:53 pm est
Friday, February 2, 2007 The Pink Panther!
These last few weeks I have been watching on Comcast On Demand, the Pink Panther films. Remember seeing some of these films back in the mid 80s when they used to run on Boston's channel 56. Seeing them this time around, and rediscovering them again, and having seen all the films except the one with Alan Arkin as Inspector Clouseau, and I have not seen the new one with Steve Martin, these films were brilliant and funny as hell. Remember seeing Shot In The Dark on the airplane when I came to the United States in 1979. Peter Sellers was amazing and brilliant, no doubt his best character he ever played is Inspector Clouseau!
I remember the chocolate bar they used to sell in South Africa, the Pink Panther chocolate. It had the Pink Panther on the Pink wrapper and the chocolate was pink, that was some good tasting chocolate even better than white chocolate! Man! Could go for some of that Pink Panther chocolate right now! I wish!
Pigeon on top, nothing ever goes right for Clouseau
Sellers married a few times and died in 1980! He was great, and one of my great all time comedy actors along with great ones like Chevy Chase and Will Ferrell! The Pink Panther movies are available right now on Comcast On Demand! 11:48 pm est
