Great live performance by My Chemical Romance! The best group out there since Creed, what a show these guys put on. And that Gerard Way is something else, entertaining that's for sure! Back in 2001 Gerard Way having watched the attacks on the World Trade Center decided to start a band. I can see why, Welcome To My Black Parade reminds me of what is going on, I sort of see Bush as the man who grows up to be the savior and keeps marching on, doing what's right! If you can't relate to this song, then you pretty much are out of touch with things. In an interview they did, they said how they really are in it for the music and love to play their music. They said when they saw Montley Crue and some other bands, they could see that them guys were in it for the money, you could see it in their eyes, actually that was said by Gerald Way in the interview. Welcome To My Black Parade may be the best video since Robbie Williams Rock DJ! My Chemical Romance also hit it big in England, their album debuted at number 2, and Welcome To My Black Parade was the number one single.

Another thing, was Gerard Way's brother Mikey Way excited with his brother's plans for the band in the early days, wanted to join the band and learned to play bass guitar practically overnight, that's amazing!

 

Have been listening to them a lot lately and they are the best band out there of the newer generation of bands!

 

 

This week we had Paris Hilton going to jail, then she supposedly was on a verge of a nervous breakdown and was sent home with an electronic bracelet. Today she was ordered back in court and was sent to jail again. Earlier when she was released Brian Kilmeade from Fox And Friends sais the magic words, the world is coming to an end. He's right, it's a sad view of society and life. Paris Hilton symbolizes most of the youth out there not all, but most, they are being a narcissistic materialistic youth and being the no regard for the law and God generation. The attitude that I'm better than anyone else and don't have to play by the rules attitude, is really foolish and not wise. On the contrary it was different a few years back as with the The New England Patriots they showed that being humble and through hard work and having faith, and won the Superbowl in 2001 season and won two more others in years after that.  And that was the year 2001, that brought these values back to the forefront after the attacks of New York, but sadly is disappearing again. In this country and thank God it's that way, money buys you comfort and that's that, you murder you go to jail, you steal rape or do anything wrong be prepared to face the music with all the money in the world or without it. And now turning away from this debacle, the G8 summit was underway. Great seeing Bush and Blair, Bush is the man! Russian President Vladimir Putin suggests placing the anti missile defense program somewhere else than the proposed sites the U.S. was interested, and the U.S. welcomes the idea. Putin had been taunting and accusing the U.S. of starting a new arms race for a couple weeks now, comes up with a good solution. The trouble makers North Koreans test nuclear missiles as the Summit was underway, only making Bush's plans for a missile defense more needed more than ever in Europe. Bono from U2 slams and accuses the G8 except the U.S. for doing not much and breaking promises to help Africa. He said George W. Bush and the U.S. is doing good, but the rest of the G8 are not living up to their parts. Bono's liking of U.S.A. and our President, is really beginning to impress me. A while back he sent a video message to Tom Brady from the Patriots, and from that I began to sense that this guy from another part of the world, gets it! And finally, the Dems and the house pass the bill on stem cell research, one that no doubt the President will veto. Caught a lady of the house saying "The people get it, the house gets it, how come our President don't?" I say, "God don't get it either, time and time again, this congress they don't get it, the man in the White House is a God fearing man and does what is right. Stem cell research tapping into embryos is wrong, destroying life at it's early stages to find cures for others is not the way to go. And that is that!   

 

 

Great song, one of their best from Sammy Hagar! Great video! This is from the Balance album from 1995. It was for this album Balance that I went and see them in concert at the Providence Civic Center in 1996! That day, was jammed with people hanging out in the Civic Center's outside premises before the concert show inside, as usual for concerts but on this day it seemed even more. Had never seen Van Halen live, and I was in awe! They sound just as good, the same really like in the album, music and singing... Of course louder because of the amps but sound wise, the same.

 

I wanna hold you and say, we cant throw this all away, tell me you wont go, you wont go, Do you have to hear me say, I cant stop lovin you! Awesome! Baby, just come on, come on, come on, I just wanna hear you say, I cant stop lovin you! And then later it goes, Oh, Im so twisted and tied, and all I remember, Was how hard we tried, only to surrender!
